The I.B.R. is a complete bone remolding using the body’s own natural enzyme

Through a complex of genetic treatments we can improve the speed and
perception of the C.N.S. and it�s sensory components through new growth and
reshaping of old cells. The system targets the bodies many different types of
receptors and the neural cell axons that transmit the information to the brain. For example
the we have the designed treatments to bolster the body�s chemoreceptors. People learn how
to smell, and taste, the exact chemical composition of things. This had proved

Genetic treatments have been relatively unsuccessful in there ability to increase the speed of the P.N.S. and reflexes in general. Here at T.E.C./G.M. Laboratories we have taken advantage of the body�s natural lines of defense and merely strengthened them. Have you ever been in a life threatening situation and felt like time was stopped or slowing down �that car isn�t, were not going to hit it� or �that guy isn�t reaching for his gun, FRAG.� There is a lot of things we have improved to get the P.N.S. to work at this higher efficiency level referred to in normal people as the Relative Refractory Period. Our systems improve the natural body by improving the M/H Na+ gates so that the axon hillock of the neural cell has a shorter Absolute Refractory Period therefore extending the Relative Refractory period. This system being completely organic does not allow for Cyberware enhancements. This treatment in it�s highest forms is pushing the body to it�s up most limits. Relative Reflex Enhancement
In the Peripheral Nervous System there special support cells for neurons called Schwann Cells. These cells mylenate the axon or nerve fibers of the P.N.S. In a normal person an unmylenated axon transfers messages to the brain at a rate of about a third to a half of a meter per second which is very slow. Mylenated axons transfer messages to the brain at a rate of 130 meters per second, because the mylenation causes the impulse or message to jump from node to node which is much faster. Our brilliant technicians figured out how to increase the distance between node and there for double and triple the speed of the message transfer. At rates of 260 meters per second the impulses of message are still strong enough to cover the increased distances with out any additional reinforcements. At speeds of 390 and 520 meters per second the distance increase created a necessity of improved insulation and reinforcement of the impulse was necessary. T.E.C./G.M. has found a way inhibit small signals from these receptors but they are overridden by intense or enduring signals.
